Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze project contracts to ensure compliance with Contractual and regulatory requirements, preparing Contracts Appreciation Documents
• Drafting of Contracts, Subcontracts etc.
• Identification, documentation and submission of claims & variations involving Time and Cost impacts viz. change of scope Proposal, Extension of Time, Cost claims etc.
• Draft/review contractual letters with Client, Subcontractors, Government bodies etc.
• Monitor contract performance and provide guidance to project teams to ensure contractual obligations are met
• Identification of Dispute and ensure documentation and preparedness for proceedings of Dispute Resolution Boards and Arbitration
• Ensure that clear and accurate records of contractual matters are maintained to monitor key dates, against the dates defined in the main contract and any subcontracts
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and disputes related to contracts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve contractual issues and optimize project outcomes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Contracts Management within the construction industry
• Candidates with PGP ACM from NICMAR Institute (2 years full time course) are preferred
• Understanding of Planning and Scheduling
• Knowledge of costing and Rate Analysis
• In-depth knowledge of Contract law, regulations, and best practices
• Strong analytical and understanding of Contracts management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with stakeholders

Responsibilities:

• Identify & develop vendors in the field of water and wastewater sector projects and maintain vendor data base.
• Capable to float RFQ & co-ordinate for techno-commercial bid from vendors.
• Invite minimum 3 quotations from vendors, negotiate and prepare rate comparison statement.
• Release of Purchase order in SAP & post contract follow up to ensure delivery in time.
• Regular internal meeting with Projects, Quality Control, Accounts Dept for expediting matters related to individual departments.
• Coordination with Stores for GRN, Stock replenishments, forwarding GRN to A/c dept.
• Coordination with Accounts department for preparing month-wise Cash Requirement statement, prioritization & ensuring Vendor payment.
• Coordination with Site personnel for GRN Status, Material receipt, set priorities during Erection & Commission stages.  
• Capable to handling ABG/PBG and LC matters.
• Support tendering team in identifying the market prices.
• Keep updating on lead time of deliveries of various items, maturing of ABG/PBG/LC. 

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Master Degree in Chemical/Mechanical field or B.com/M.com with relevant experience.
• Knowledge about wastewater equipment
• Expert in using computer packages such as MS office working knowledge and hands on experience in SAP sytem
• Fluent in writing, speaking and reading of English language

Experience:

 Working experience of min. 5 years in handling independently procurement activities, preference will be given to water / wastewater sector.
